A community-wide Hurricane Relief effort is being coordinated by a collection of South Florida promoters, local small businesses and nonprofit organizations. The intention is to raise awareness of Irma and Maria's devastating effects across the Caribbean and U.S. and the urgent need for basic necessities. Proceeds will go toward the Irma/Maria Caribbean Strong Relief Fund at The Miami Foundation.
You, your family and your neighbors have collected supplies to weather the storm. We were largely spared. Don't just keep them in your cabinet. Donate those goods to those in need.
Reach into your wallet, grab your credit/debit card and send even if it's just $5 it makes a difference in the life of someone who has recently had everything taken from them.
We are raising funds that will benefit those who need it most.
